Was able to plot functions without having to get out my TI-83. Thats saying something! Thank you!
Have used this from algebra through pre-calc and physics. May not have solve like TIs but I believe is much easier to graph and edits graphs than a TI-84 or 89.
crash when i tried snap intersection
As far as iOS calculators go, this is the best one Ive seen.
Wont let me put in x^2 or even x and the formulas wont work for anyone in algebra 1 or 2 not sure about geometry but I imagine not
I was going in to algebra and needed a graphing calculator and found this! It works great but it could have a better look.
What can I say, this has been one of the best school related apps Ive purchased. Im a visual learner and the color screen is a huge advantage when working with multiple functions at a time compared to the screen of the TI-83 my brother loaned me. Easier and quicker to use as well. This app really helped me get a great understanding of the material at a fraction of the cost of a graphing calculator. It does have limits but overall a great tool and gets better with every update.
Its getting me through college. It could use some minor updates from time to time.
I got my algebra 2 teacher to substitute this great app for a mandatory $120 calculator. Even it sucked thats a plus. But it is the best two dollars I have spent on the app store. Its sorta hard to get hang of, but once you do its easy peazy.
After using a TI-83 for 9 years, this is great! Pitch and zoom graphs are incredible. With a very robust function library, this is well worth $2. Nice to see innovation in the midst of TIs dearth.
I would just like to suggest a few new features: -The ability to trace in polar. You could use arrow buttons on the bottom of the graph to move around the cardioids, limaçons, and roses. Its hard to find the area within curves if you cant tell where two curves cross each other. -The ability to trace to a specific x, t, or theta value on the graph. The current process of doing y1(17) is a bit tedious. It could just be a new option when you double-tap on the graph. -Integrals! This might require its own specific interface though... All in all, this is a great app. Ive used it and my TI-83 since trigonometry in high school. Until calculus, the only reason I used my TI-83 is because Im not allowed to use my phone on tests. However, this app provides much of the same stuff a TI-83 or 84 calculator does, but does it much faster.
How do i write an equation and graph it?
Please add 6 more equation slots like the graphing calculator I use at school
Thanks for adding new stuff with almost every update! Could add iPad compatibility!
Easy to understand. Great for Trig and Calc home work. The graphing window is easy to manipulate
Cant find decimal to fraction button. Please add!!
Calculator cannot compute nor graph negative odd roots. x^(1/n) x < 0, n is odd (i.e. (-8)^(1/3) = -2, but calculator does not say its defined) Please fix this! Thank you!
A wonderful idea and application of graphing technology. It works well for the most part and Ive never had any problems. Would like to see some added features (intergrals anyone?) though could understand why they arent there. Overall, a wonderful addition to my iPhone.
Better than any 80$ calculator out there.
