A regular graphic calculator=150$ This app=0$ And for people who are thinking "well you needed to buy a 300$ itouch or 200$ iPhone" you get alot more than just a calculator with an itouch or iPhone, TONS MORE!!!

I would recommend this application for use in Math 11 in British Columbia. It can tackle almost everything in the curriculum. Its display is far better than the Ti-83 or Ti-84. One can easily compare graphs because each is a different colour. It lacks a TVM solver. However, one can use graphs to solve some financial problems such as finding the time required to double an investment. One feature I really like is the ability to take a screenshot of a graph and email it.

Im only on grade8 but my teacher is already doing this kind of stuff. I find the math easy but the graphing hard. It saved my life and all my friends are threatening to steal my iPod to help with their homework. I reccomens it for everyone with a crazy overexpecting teacher.

No a bad graphing calculator is you are just being introduced to graphing. There is only Y= functions and you can only plot 4 eqations at a time. Quick graph however supports both Y=, X=, polar and even a 3D mode. Quick Graph is also free and is perfect for more advanvanced graphing. This is great for beginners but Quick Graph is a much better app.

I can play games then pretend to do graphs when my teacher comes by :D I found one problem.... Y=(-2)^x doesnt work :( pls fix! And thx

This calculator is better than my TI-84!!!!!!!! The zoom function is absolutely amazing...just needs a few more functions and this will be the perfect calculator...

It does its job very well. Im pretty pleased with the ease of the whole thing, espically using multi-touch to control the sizing of the graph. However, I doubt this will ever come close to the power of a TIs other functions or it would become a very large possibly slow app. So to the others who say it would replace it for pre-calculus students... I highly doubt they would let you bring in your cell phone or let you use it for that matter... Espically an iPhone that has internet capabilitys out the wazoo. But I digress. Keep up the good work! Would like some min/max features like the TI can do or possibly pointing out where two functions intersect.

You saved me $150... But doesnt plot simple functions like y=2sin(3x+pi)+1
